All the people out there who were born in 90s can relate to this. Many times we all had heard about this rumour. Especially during 2005-06 when Dhoni was at his prime. He scored blistering 148 against Pakistan at Vizag and also scored sublime 183* in that famous run chase vs Sri Lanka at Sawai Mansinh Stadium, Jaipur. He used to play some aggressive shots with so much power that people actually started believing that 5-litre milk a day is the secret of his energy. However, Dhoni has never confirmed or admitted this publicly.

Another one for those 90s born people. This rumour was a tragic in its kind. Ricky Ponting scored a breath-taking 140* off 121 balls against India in the final of 2003 world cup at Johannesburg. Some of the shots had drawn attention of people watching from outside because those were played by one handed and the rumour went viral that Ponting had kept spring inside the bat. Ironically, this was a viral rumour back in the day after Australia won the 2003 world cup.

3. Mohammed Kaif is Katrina Kaif's brother:

This was one of the funniest rumours that was made viral. In India, there is a deep connection always between cricket and bollywood. Many cricketers are married to bollywood actresses. But this connection between Mohammed Kaif and Katrina Kaif was funnier as people started to believe they are actually siblings. This was also fast paced rumour of 2004-05 but there is no connection between these two.

4. MRF is a bat manufacturing company:
